The project team develops a high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) platform tailored for electric vehicle (EV) aerodynamics. It integrates wall-modeled large-eddy simulation (WMLES) with high-order numerical schemes (6th-order TENO) on tetrahedral unstructured meshes to accurately capture complex, high-speed, unsteady turbulent flows and flow separation around modern EV geometries.
